I want your stories. I have told Nam vet stories because I am a grunt from that era. I am in the process of telling a few WW2 stories and those from assorted other conflicts. I want to tell yours where I speak and write too. Send me a note or do it here on the blog, but talk to me. I care and many of us do. I am not a politician. I am a vet and I want to scream about what you do from the rooftops. My son has done three tours. He and his wife were both in Afghanistan for his second round. Let me hear from you.

I am the only one writing for my blog. So be it. Today, 4/10, I saw Diane Sawyer on a morning talk show. She was promoting "20-20" tonight and the anti-gun show she is hosting. The assault on our freedoms continues and every iron is being struck while hot before our legal citizens have enough sense to wake up and see what is happening to us. You never get anything back that has been taken away. That is simple history. She says the police want the show aired because people with legal guns are causing their problems and taht there are one in three homes in America armed (gee, wonder why we have not been attacked by armed insurgents or our own government). That means our kids are probably in a home with a gun whether you want them to be or not. Once again the left uses kids for policital purposes with a subtle, veiled, fear-mongering implication. She said they studied misuses since it is the two year anniversary of the Virginia Tech slayings. They have a whole ball of crap rolled up to pitch tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe main thing is that we will stay under attack now and somewhere, some time until people draw the line and decide freedom is omore important than political power used for its own sake, not ours. The only chance we have to defend our way of life is to write, call, and vote every time with the correct memory in mind (as opposed to that provided us by an admitted 79% liberal media that will cease to exist if ever the socialist agenda destroys our way of life) of what the no good, anti-American (and do not tell me they are patriots---you cannot be a socialist and be an American or an American patriot) crowd is doing to us.

Mike has a "way with words". My husband and I bought Mike's book to give as a Christmas gift. I think the book was read 3 times before it was given. It was wonderful.
